Reception Maths Tuition – Early Years Foundation

Reception is where a child’s mathematical journey begins. At this stage (ages 4–5), children explore numbers, counting, shapes, and patterns through fun, interactive activities. Our Reception maths tutors use play-based, one-to-one lessons that build confidence and curiosity. We introduce children to basic number recognition, counting, simple addition, and everyday maths concepts like time, size, and money. Each lesson is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and adapted to your child’s pace. Parents receive simple progress updates, making it easy to follow your child’s development and ensure they are well-prepared for Year 1 maths.
